You're invited to join hundreds of runners and walkers in Belmont community to raise the voice and visibility of AAPI residents. This event is organized by BCAA and sponsored by local businesses to support the Belmont Celebrates AAPI Heritage Fund.

Race Route: The 5K route for both running and walking is the same as the Becca Pizzi 5K route developed by the Belmont Police Department, which starts and ends on the BHS track and goes through the Winn Brook neighborhood.

Awards will be granted in the following categories:

 - Top three finishers Male and Female

 - Fastest 5K per age group per gender (10 year increments, exclude top 3 overall)

- Fastest 5K kid – 12 and Under per gender

 - Largest Team

Registration fee is $30 through April 22, 2022, then on-line registration will be closed. The fee for the day-of registration on May 1 will be $40.

The first 200 registered runners/walkers will be offered a short sleeve 'quick-dri' running shirt.

 
Parking:

The Belmont High School (BHS) Track is located on 291 Concord Avenue, adjacent to BHS, which can be easily reached by car and public transportation.  

Attention: NO PARKING in BHS Lot. There is ample parking available in surrounding area on the race day.

Race Update (4/14/2022)

Each participating kid 12-year-old or younger will receive a Moozy’s gift card when picking up their bib numbers and T-shirts, thanks to a generous donation by Becca Pizzi and a matching donation by the Belmont Chinese American Associate (BCAA).

NO PARKING IN Belmont High School (BHS) Parking Lot! BHS lot is reserved for another event on May 1st. Ample parking is available in surrounding areas on Sundays.

Free parking within short walking distance from BHS on race day:

1. Street parking along Concord Ave

2. Wellington Elementary School parking lot

3. Claflin Street (Belmont Center) municipal parking lot

The BHS track and Harris Field must be cleared by 11:15 am for a pre-scheduled lacrosse game. We’ll begin the breakdown and cleanup at about 10:30 am, immediately after the awards ceremony. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
