COURSE (dogs welcome!) Must submit proof of rabies vaccination.
Enjoy an early spring morning with a walk, run or wag! Our courses wrap around the scenic trails of Borderland State park and Leach Pond.
The trails are mostly flat with just a few hills. This is an off-road unpaved trail event. Sport carriages are welcome. Please email mal@sowma.org with rabies certificate if you're wagging with us!

What is Outrunning Homelessness?
Our Outrunning Homelessness Race/Walk/Wag is an annual 5K race and 2.6 mile walk held each spring to raise funds and awareness about the educational needs of Massachusetts students facing homelessness. This event captures the spirit of our supporters as they gather to run, walk or spend an early spring morning with their people-friendly dog at DCR’s Borderland State Park. Parking is limited. If possible, please consider carpooling.
