Kids race begins. This race is free, fun and non-competitive and will consist of 2 laps of the track at Glendale Park.

5k race begins.

Awards Ceremony in the Recreation Center. Awards will include mystery prizes for non-winners!

Raffle in the Recreation Center.
USATF certified 5k route number MA18003BK. Our 5k route is exactly 3.1 miles.
Starting on Elm Street, between Woodlawn Street and Birch Street.
Turn right onto Ferry Street
Turn right onto Broadway
Continue straight onto Lynn Street
Turn right onto Fuller Street
Turn right onto Washington Avenue. Run up the course’s only challenge, Cemetery Hill!
Turn right onto Elm Street
Turn right into Glendale Park
Turn right and run one anti-clockwise lap of Glendale Park track.
Finish line is past the third base dugout.

Awards
For the 5k, awards will be given to the overall top three male and female runners.
Prizes also awarded to first place male and female in the visually impaired division
In addition, age group medals will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in each of the following categories:
0 - 9
10 - 13
14 - 19
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 +
Teams
3 or more runners make a team. Fastest three runners' combined times creates the team score.
Awards will be given to the fastest overall team and the largest team.
Proceeds from our event will be donated to Strongbacks Inc. The Strongbacks scholarship program is designed to support training in the trades, crafts, and other specialized skills for children raised in single parent households. For more information, please visit strongbacks.org
