Thanksgiving Day November 28, 2019

RESULTS 2019

Start your Thanksgiving Day with a run or walk on the beautiful paths of the crown jewel of the Emerald Necklace, Franklin Park! The scenic 3.1 mile (5k) route includes the the park's most beautiful and historic views.

  • All ages and paces welcome
  • Strollers and race-ready leashed dogs are welcome
  • Great prizes for fast finishers and costumes
  • Chip timed
Runner registrations support the Franklin Park Coalition’s programs and events including; conservation & stewardship, arts & health, and advocacy that happen year-round. The three pillars of the Franklin Park Coalition are: Work, Play and Engage! Our signature fundraising and fitness event, the 7th Annual Turkey Trot 5K brings each of these elements to life in the park. 

This year's swag is a snazzy neck warmer for all registrants! Pick your color! 


Race Day Information

Race day number pick up starts at 8 am at the golf clubhouse:

Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse 
1 Circuit Drive, Boston MA

We will have advance number pick up again this year, look for details in November.

Parking
Ample parking in Franklin Park at the golf clubhouse, along Circuit Drive, in the parking lot across the street, and in the circle by the exit towards Blue Hill Ave.  There is an additional parking lot .3 miles down Circuit Drive and an extra parking lot by the zoo rear entrance.  

Course 
The 2019 course will again follow the lovely circuit route as last year, pending confirmation from the Boston Parks Department. View the 2018 course map.

Restrooms

The golf clubhouse will be open, but be advised that the bathrooms only have a few stalls.  We will have porta-potties as well.  Leave plenty of time in case there is a line.  

Bag Check

We will not have a bag check, sorry.

Watch your step!

Please be aware that the condition of the pathway surfaces varies.

Awards & Results

We’ll have prizes for the male and female overall winners, age group first place winners, and for runners in the best costumes, the fastest dog, and fastest stroller at approximately 9:50 inside the clubhouse.
