The 26.2 Challenge is a first class road racing event for all levels of runners. The event is a marathon relay with you and five of your friends to see how quickly you can complete the 26.2mi out and back course. While you run the team has fun!

ABOUT THE EVENT

NEXT EVENT IS SATURDAY APRIL 22nd 2017.  START IS AT 9AM - IN PLYMOUTH, MA

 

THE 26.2 CHALLENGE IS A TEAM MARATHON RELAY. WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE? IT'S AN OUT AND BACK STYLE COURSE WHERE EACH LEG OF THE RACE IS THE SAME DISTANCE.

 

A TEAM OF SIX, YOU AND FIVE OF YOUR FRIENDS WILL CONQUER 26.2! WHILE YOUR TEAM MEMBER IS OUT RUNNING YOU'RE AT THE TRANSITION AREA WITH 1000+ LIKE MINDED PEOPLE LISTENING TO A DJ PLAY THE LATEST TUNES AND CHEERING ON YOUR FRIENDS AS THEY COME AND GO. AFTER THE RACE YOU GET YOUR BEER STEIN FILLED WITH MAYFLOWER CRAFT BEER AND AS WELL AS THE OPTION FOR FOOD RIGHT AT THE FINISH LINE. 

 

WE HAVE NOTHING AGAINST REGULAR ROAD RACES (THERE ARE JUST A MILLION OF THEM) AND BEER RUNS ARE FUN BUT THIS ISN'T ANY OLD BEER RUN. ITS A PARTY. 

 

We bring together all different types of teams. The distance for each leg is manageable at just over 4mi so you don't have to be an ultra runner to take part. Our divisions include; All Male, All Female, Mixed Gender, Running/Tri Club, Corporation & Crossfit.

How does it work from registration to race day? Let's lay it out!

  1. Find 1-5 Friends that want to take part (Teams don't have to be six but if its less people will need to run more than one leg so six total legs are completed)

  2. Click REGISTER at the bottom of this page and fill out our simple registration form and secure your teams spot. Last year the event sold out and we turned away over 25 teams!

  3. Show up on race day ready to have fun! You will pick-up your 26.2 Collectors Beer Stein (different every year), a beer ticket and your team's bibs. 

  4. We have prizes for top three in each division! We have RaceMenu timing kiosks on site so that you can print your time out right when you cross the line. We also have large LCD screens with real time placings in each division.
