WELCOME TO THE RACE TO THE ROW
The Somerville Road Runners are proud to present the seventh annual Race to the Row in Assembly Square in our hometown of Somerville, MA. It's a series of fun events through Assembly Square and along the Mystic River. We have a Fast Mile, a 5K and a FREE Kids Fun Run! The 5K is open to runners, walkers, teams and families of all ages and abilities, ending with a fun-filled post-race party with food, drinks and beer served from the local restaurants and businesses! All proceeds will benefit East Somerville Main Streets and Somerville TrackPAC
We'll start off with the Fast Mile at 8:30am, a 1 mile loop race in Assembly Row open to all ages. Runners in the mile must be able to complete the distance in 10 minutes or less. Next is the free 1/8 mile Kid's Fun Run (age 9 and under) before the race with all kids getting a medal! And then at 9:00, we kick off the 5K. If you'd like to run both the Fast Mile and the 5K, it's only $5 more!
The first 400 registrants signed up by Aug. 1 are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt, and all 5K and Mile registrants, and all volunteers will get free food, drinks and dessert afterward! But everyone can participate in the post-race festivities. Others can pay $10 to be able to eat and drink along with them. There will be an awards ceremony following the race for top finishers and age-group winners in Mens, Womens and Wheelchair divisions as well as team awards.

Registration for the Fast Mile is $20, which includes the post-party but no t-shirt. On the day of the race, registration increases to $25.
