Greetings, Family and Friends! I’m turning 49 this October and decided to celebrate this milestone by trying to qualify to run the Boston Marathon when I turn 50. This Charles River Marathon Race is a Boston Qualifier and fundraiser for the RACE Cancer Foundation. The Foundation fights cancer through action and prevention. Their running events promote health and wellness in the community, reducing the risk of cancer while raising funds and awareness for organizations dedicated to fighting cancer.
