JOIN US for the inaugural Roosevelt Run 5K on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the heart of Hyde Park. This family-friendly event kicks off in Logan Square and continues with an easy 3.1-mile run/walk along the Neponset River Reservation. 100% of proceeds go directly to supporting the students of the Roosevelt School in Hyde Park. 

We encourage all walkers/runners of varying ages and abilities to join us for a fun-filled morning! 

Registration:

$25 for online registration. Register before 4/28 to receive your free commemorative shirt!

$30 for day-of registration in person

Course:

This out-and-back course starts in Logan square heading south on Fairmount Ave. Runners will take a left on to Truman Pkwy and continue on the far left lane of this road until the halfway point. From there they will make a U-turn onto the Neponset River Greenway path to return along. Detailed course map here.

Awards:

-Prizes will be given to the top 3 fastest males and females.

-Age group winners will be recognized. Overall winners are excluded from age group contention.

-Largest team will receive an award. Use your personal referral code to recruit team members!

Volunteers:

Register with the link above (free). We look forward to having you as part of our race-day team! Please arrive by 7:30 AM the morning of the race (Sunday 5/5) and report to the Commonwealth Bank parking lot - 1172 River St, Hyde Park, MA 02136.

FAQs:

            Where can I park at the race?  

    There are two free lots that are open to the public in the vicinity of the race:

        -Hyde Park Municipal Lot across from the Hyde Park library.

        -Blue Hills Bank Parking Lot across from the Hyde Park Municipal Building

    On-street parking is also available along River St.

Are strollers allowed?

    Absolutely! Strollers are allowed on the course but will be asked to line up behind all runners at the          start line for safety purposes. 

Can I run with my dog?

    Bring Fido! Dogs are allowed on the course but will be asked to line up behind all runners at the start        line for safety purposes. Please make sure your dog is leashed at all times.
